Acquittal In Tavern Shooting

I successfully represented a 30-year-old Paterson man who was involved in a shooting in a Passaic bar.  My client, D.P. gave a woman money for sex but when she changed her mind, he demanded his money back, and she refused.  Suddenly another man pulled a pistol on him and D.P. grabbed it away.  The man threw a bottle at him, and he shot the man three times.  I argued self-defense.  D.P.  was found not guilty of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons charges. – North Jersey Herald News
